Broadsheet Newspapers Analysis:

This is The Daily Telegraph newspaper, the front cover has an image of the unforgettable image of the New York's Twin Towers ablaze and falling together with a simple headline and covering the entire page (front over) of the broadsheet newspaper. As this newspaper is a broadsheet, I would say that it is aimed at readers band A,B and possibly C1 and it for an older generation because of the type of language techniques used to draw the readers attention.

The newspapers main headline is 'WAR ON AMERICA'which goes across the newspaper , with the font that is different from the rest of the other texts to draw the readers attention to the main headline. There are five other much smaller texts paragraphs below the subject matter.

The composition of the text and the image suggest that the Twin Towers are the subject matter there for the most important subject matter on the newspaper. This is because the main storyline is about the day the Twin Towers went up in flames in seconds ,shocking millions around the world.

The shot of the image of the towers is a long-medium shot, because the readers can clearly see the towers ablaze and falling apart with the flames flying out of the building while still able to see the much smaller buildings below the two twin towers. This is to shows the readers the full view of the effect of the blaze and its surrounding.
